- The topic for the lesson today – Make your own volcano. Our Equipment and new words:
- cardboard (a sheet of thick or thin cardboard)
- scissors (a pair of scissors)
- colored-pens (for decoration, for painting)
- sticky tape (a roll of sticky tape)
- bottle (that will be our volcano’s chamber and a crater, empty bottle, not too big)
- spoons (tea-spoons)
- detergent (liquid soap. Several drops for making foam or lava)
- vinegar (we need some amount of vinegar)
- baking soda (several spoons for eruption)
- upsight down (put the bottle upside down)
- to fold (fold the cardboard to fome a cone)
- to pour (pour some vinegar into the bottle)
- crumpled newspaper
- the mouth of the bottle
- the circle (cut out the circle)
- to fill (to fill the cone with the crumpled newspaper)
- We need one voluenteer – for collecting the equipment (team 2)
